SCRACHD'
History gets sick. A claim gets copied wrong, a source gets lost, and the bad version spreads faster than the original. I take one claim at a time back to the primary record, find where it went wrong, and put every receipt on screen.
Hosted by Solomon Voss. Not a doctor: I diagnose the record, not people.

Every case starts as a diagnosis. Something in the story is unwell, and the job is to find out what.
Nothing gets the check until the record backs it. Not a forum post, not a famous quote, the record.
The surface story gets scratched until what people actually wrote down at the time shows through.
Historical oncology
A bad claim behaves like a tumor. It starts small, copies itself, spreads to places far from where it began, and crowds out the healthy record around it. Treating it takes the same steps every time.
Pick one claim people actually believe and write it down exactly as it's told.
Pull the earliest primary source: the document, the photo, the report, the data table.
Trace how far the claim has spread and where it changed along the way.
Check it against independent records and sort every piece into a tier.
Put the corrected record on screen, with sources, so anyone can check it.
A primary source is in hand and supports the claim.
The pieces are real. How they fit together is interpretation, and we say so out loud.
The primary sources say otherwise, and we show which ones.
All research is conducted with a high-level AI research system, not a quick question to a free chatbot in a search engine, or even the paid apps people spend a few bucks a month on. Solomon Voss takes research to another level and brings the truth forward while it still matters. Every claim is checked against primary sources before it airs, and the sources for every episode are listed in its description.
The truth deserves light, and so do goodness and morality. Help us shed the darkened layers from what was once so bright.
Coming first
The pilot explains the method using one case from each book. Then the first series opens the file on American tap water: what's in it, who decides, and what nobody measures.
How a story gets sick, and how to treat it. One case from each book.
World rankings give American tap water a perfect score. Here's what that score doesn't count.
Disinfection works. It also makes compounds, and almost none of them have a limit.
Dallas, Portland and Buffalo, written out compound by compound.
Blood levels after a ten-minute shower, from a CDC study.
What the studies actually measured in kettles and jug filters.
Case files in print
Every case file below is a full book with its sources. The His Story series is written under the pen name Z.C. Higgins; the tap water investigation comes out as Solomon Voss.

Who's doing this · Solomon Voss
I spent fifteen years as a traveling service engineer in some of the most sophisticated machine shops there are, rebuilding and installing machines that hold repeatability at the micron scale for years. One ten-thousandth of an inch (0.0001") is 2.54 microns. I like concise, verifiable facts. A lot.
I also installed first-of-their-kind, multi-million-dollar CNC machines and integrated them with robots and robot cells. That work teaches you one thing above all: systems fail at the joints, where one part meets another.
When someone crashed a machine and left the mess, a qualified tech came in to save it. Some of those machines made $25,000 an hour, so every hour down was $25,000 lost. In that world there is only one fix: a permanent, real, accurate rebuild of the exact original, the way it was before the crash. Mistruths and propaganda are crashes too, and that's the fix I bring to my writing and to this channel.
History fails the same way. It breaks where one source meets the next copy, where a caption gets separated from its photo, where a number gets rounded and repeated until nobody remembers the original. That's where I look.
You don't need a PhD to read the public record. You need patience, the original documents, and the honesty to say "we don't know yet" when that's the answer.
